About the role
The Sales Development Associate supports the sales team by covering routes that lack permanent representation, ensuring product availability, brand visibility, and customer satisfaction. This full‑time position is ideal for candidates who are results‑driven and eager to start a career in sales.
Key responsibilities
- Visit accounts and establish efficient routing patterns for uncovered daily routes.
- Analyze buying patterns, review pricing and product programs, and maintain accurate purchase histories.
- Take inventory, restock shelves where permitted, and use point‑of‑sale materials to maximize brand exposure.
- Deliver products under challenging circumstances, address customer issues, and escalate when necessary.
- Collect payments in applicable markets and provide extended route coverage as needed.
- Achieve distribution, volume, and activity targets set by management.
- Complete required surveys to ensure national account compliance.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- No prior sales experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication with a diplomatic approach.
- Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with solid reporting abilities.
- Good judgment and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Basic PC proficiency, especially Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with presentation software.
